H about equally useful is the use of peas and for cosmetic purposes. So, home facial masks from peas have a rejuvenating effect and help to smooth out shallow wrinkles, well tonify, nourish, moisturize, cleanse, and improve the appearance of the skin.


The most popular recipe is a mixture of pea puree with sour cream. The fruits of green young peas must be ground in mashed potatoes, then add to the 2nd st.spoons of the obtained mass of 1 tbsp.spoon of sour cream, and stir.
The prepared composition with an abundant thick layer is superimposed on the cleansed face skin for 25-40 minutes, and after it is washed off with water at room temperature.


This universal pea mask is suitable for all skin types. It perfectly softens, nourishes, refreshes and tones the skin of the face.

For skin with high fat content, it is recommended not to take fatty sour cream, and, conversely, with dry skin - sour cream with the highest percentage of fat.
In this recipe sour cream can be replaced by other products. With dry skin, 1 egg yolk, milk cream, cottage cheese, slightly diluted with milk, olive oil, homemade mayonnaise will work well. With oily skin - skim curd, natural yogurt, egg white.

Recipe for a natural pea mask from wrinkles :
To the 2nd st.spoons of peeled pea powder, add 1 teaspoon of honey, dissolved in 3-t.spoons of warm milk, and 2 teaspoons of aloe juice. Mix everything, put on your face for 20-25 minutes, and after the time wash away with warm water.

In particular, for smoothing wrinkles the following recipe is used:
Dry peas should be grinded in a coffee grinder to the state of flour, and after diluting 2 tbsp.spoons of pea flour with warm milk( with dry skin type) or with whey( with a greasy skin) until a medium-thick paste is obtained. Such a paste thick layer is superimposed on the skin of the face, especially on areas with wrinkles, and lasts from 20 to 40 minutes.

Or here is another mask from pea flour from wrinkles:
Prepare pea flour itself, chopping dry peas in a coffee grinder. Measure out 2 tbsp.spoons. Give 1 tbsp.a spoonful of freshly brewed warm mashed potatoes( without salt), and as much freshly squeezed carrot juice, so that in the process of stirring a medium-thick kash-like mass is obtained. Abundantly and evenly apply it to the face( avoiding the area around the eyes), and leave for 20-40 minutes.

Cleansing Pea Face Mask with scrub effect:
Peel the dry peas in a coffee grinder, but not completely into flour, but into small grits. This grist will be used as scraping particles. As a basis, you can take the following products:
With a dry skin type - vegetable oil, sour cream, cream, yolk, oatmeal or semolina porridge. Mix one of the selected ingredients into the eye with pea grist to make a scrub.
For fatty skin type, take low-fat sour cream, kefir, natural yoghurt, mashed tomato pulp as a basis.
The finished compound is applied to a previously cleaned and slightly moist face, the skin is gently massaged with the pads of the fingers for a couple of minutes, then the mask simply holds for another 20 minutes and then is washed off with water.
In the end, remember the use of a moisturizer.

To improve the appearance, refresh and tone the oily and combination skin, young green peas are mixed with sour milk or serum. Peas are poured in puree, followed by 2 tbsp. Spoons of the obtained mass are poured with a small amount of the selected sour-milk product, and left for 10 minutes, so that the peas are slightly swollen. Further pea gruel is applied to the face for 20 minutes, and then washed off with cool water.
In this mask, green peas can be replaced with pea flour.
