LFK with gastrointestinal diseases and post-operative exercises

LFK with gastrointestinal diseases, as well as therapeutic physical training after surgery on the abdominal cavity will help relieve pain symptoms, improve blood circulation and prevent the development of complications. The frequency and severity of the exercise is determined depending on how intensively the disease progresses, and how quickly the patient is recovering from surgery

Types of exercises for healing the gastrointestinal tract(

) Physiotherapy is necessary for all diseases of the digestive tract, even after surgery on the abdominal cavity it is necessary to do feasible movements( move fingers and toes), which will greatly accelerate recovery. Physical exercises for the gastrointestinal tract help to reduce the stress effect of the disease, improve blood circulation and metabolism, including in the tissues of the affected organ, thereby stimulating its faster recovery( inflammation, healing of the ulcer or postoperative wound), and prevent the development of complications.

Kinds of physical exercises for improving the gastrointestinal tract, their intensity and duration depend, first, on the stage of the disease: in an acute period, especially if bed rest is prescribed, the simplest exercises( squeezing and unclenching, turning the head) are performed lying or reclining inbed, when the aggravation subsides - lying on the rug or sitting on a chair, and when recovering - standing up, while walking, jogging, cycling and other outdoor activities join the exercise therapy.

Of particular importance are exercises in the GI disease and other types of physical exertion to prevent exacerbations of the disease.

Secondly, the nature of exercise therapy for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract depends on the location, the form of the disease, the type of disease. It was found that with moderate exercise the secretion of gastric juice is increased, and intensive muscle work reduces it.

In this regard, with chronic gastritis with a decreased secretion, exercise therapy should be aimed at improving sock separation, strengthening the abdominal muscles, activating the circulation in the abdominal cavity. Therefore, to stimulate the secretory and motor activity of the stomach use exercises for the stomach and intestines, strengthening the abdominal muscles, abdominal massage, restorative exercises of small and medium intensity. Exercise is carried out before the reception of mineral water.

In contrast, with gastritis with increased secretion, abdominal muscle exercises are limited, while the intensity of other exercises is significantly increased by increasing the load compared with those who have gastritis with a decreased secretion. Physiotherapy in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract should be done after taking mineral water, but before eating.

With GERD and especially with achalasia of the esophagus, the abdominal muscles are not loaded, the slopes and other exercises of exercise therapy for gastrointestinal diseases, which increase the pressure in the abdominal cavity, both in the acute period and for the prevention of exacerbations.

The exercise complex of exercise therapy for peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum is similar to that for gastritis with increased secretion, but somewhat more sparing in the acute and subacute period of the disease.

exercise therapy for chronic gastritis: a set of physical exercises for stomach pain

Exercises for gastritis should be done either 0.5-1 hour before meals, or 2-2.5 hours after eating, since even a small physical load can slow downsecretion of the stomach.

Before the beginning of the complex of exercises with gastritis walking around the room 3-5 minutes:

1. Starting position: lying on the back, hands along the trunk. Raise the brush to the shoulders, then spread the arms out to the sides and inhale, again raise the brushes to the shoulders, go back to the starting position and exhale. Repeat this exercise with gastritis 5-7 times.

2. Initial position: is the same. Pull the right knee to the stomach and exhale, return to the starting position and inhale. Repeat 5-7 times with each foot.

3. Initial position: is the same. Bend your knees, spread your knees to the sides, then straighten them and straighten your legs. Repeat 10-12 times.

4. Starting position: lying on the right side. Pull the left knee to the stomach, take the left arm back, exhale, return to the starting position, inhale. Repeat 8-10 times, then do the same physical exercise with chronic gastritis, lying on the left side.

5. Starting position: knee-bush( kneeling and leaning on straight hands).Doing this exercise with pain in the stomach, straighten the right leg and maximally take it back towards the ceiling, return to its original position. Repeat 5-7 times with each foot.

6. Initial position: is the same. Simultaneously raise, straightening, the right arm and left leg, return to the starting position. Then follow the left hand and the right foot. Repeat 5-7 times.

7. Starting position: sitting on stool, hands on belt. Rotational movements of the trunk: forward, left, back, right;then in the opposite direction. Repeat this exercise for the gastrointestinal tract 5 times in each direction.

8. The starting position: the same. Hands pull forward, while raising your right leg, return to the starting position. Repeat 5-7 times with each foot.

9. Starting position: standing, feet shoulder width apart, arms to sides. Turn the body to the right so as to see the wall behind you, and inhale;hands stretch in the same direction, without tearing off the legs from the floor;return to the starting position. Repeat this exercise from the complex LFK with chronic gastritis 5-7 times in each direction.

10. Initial position: is the same. Lean forward, with your right hand touch the left foot;take your left hand back;return to the starting position. Repeat 5-7 times with each hand.

Complex exercises for gastrointestinal diseases and gastritis with increased acidity

The complex of exercises for gastritis with high acidity is also suitable for the prevention of exacerbations in peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum. In this complex of exercises with gastrointestinal diseases, exercises on abdominal muscles are limited, while the intensity of other exercises is significantly higher than in gastritis with a decreased secretion. LFK should be performed after taking mineral water, for a short time( 10-15 minutes) before eating. The intensity of the exercises for improving the gastrointestinal tract gradually, as training increases, is increased by accelerating the exercise, increasing the number of repetitions, the introduction of exercises with weights( dumbbells) and others.

Before starting the exercise, walk around the room for 3-5 minutes:

1. Starting position: lying on the back. Hands along the trunk, legs bent at the knees. Breathe in diaphragmatic breathing( stomach): at the expense of 1-2 - inhale, belly swells, at the expense of 3-4 - exhalation, stomach is retracted.

2. Initial position: is the same. Legs are crossed in the ankles, arms slightly apart. Slowly turn the pelvis and legs one way, and the head, chest and shoulders into the other. Repeat 6-8 times in each direction.

3. Starting position: sitting on the floor, straight legs are divorced. Straight arms are stretched out in front of you. Stretch your arms forward, trying to touch the right foot, return to the starting position. Then stretch forward and touch the floor with your hands between the legs, return to the starting position. Stretch to the left foot, return to the starting position. Repeat 7-10 times.

4. Initial position: is the same. Hands to the side. With your right hand, bending over, touch the left foot, pulling your left hand back, return to the starting position. Repeat 6-8 times with each hand.

5. Starting position: standing. The legs are shoulder width apart, arms along the trunk. On inhalation, raise your hands up, on exhalation, a deep tilt forward, touching the floor with your hands. Repeat this exercise from the complex LFK with gastritis 8-10 times.

6. Initial position: is the same. Raise your hands through the sides up, inhale. Hold your breath for 4-5 seconds, go back to the starting position and exhale. Repeat 6-8 times. The same exercise can be performed with dumbbells 0,5-1,5 kg.

7. Initial position: is the same. Carry the torso to the right, sliding left palm to the axilla, return to the starting position. Do the same movement, leaning to the left. Repeat 6-8 times in each direction. The same exercise can be performed with dumbbells 0,5-1,5 kg.

8. Initial position: is the same. On inhalation, raise your arms straight up, slightly bend in the lower back and simultaneously set your right foot back on the toe. On exhalation, slightly lean forward, lower your arms and put your foot. Do the same, putting your left foot back. Repeat 6-8 times with each foot.

9. Starting position: standing, feet shoulder width apart, arms to sides. Turn the body to the right as far as possible to see the wall behind you, and inhale;hands stretch in the same direction, without tearing off the legs from the floor;return to the starting position. Repeat 6-8 times in each direction.

10. Initial position: is the same. Lean forward, with your right hand touch the left foot;take your left hand back;return to the IP.Repeat 6-8 times with each hand.

After class, if possible, take a contrast shower or wash yourself to the waist with cool water.

Complex of exercise therapy for peptic ulcer: physical exercises with ulcers without perforation

Light physical exercises can be started already in an acute period, when the diagnosis is clearly established, the absence of perforation of the ulcer, bleeding, acute pains and other contraindications are confirmed.

LFK in peptic ulcer is carried out in the initial position( PI) lying mostly on the back, less often on the abdomen, avoiding loads that increase pain and discomfort;between the exercises should take breaks of 30-40 seconds, the time of execution of one complex of exercise therapy 8-10 minutes.

It is desirable 3 repetitions of this set of physical exercises with a stomach ulcer per day - in the morning, in the afternoon and in the early evening, after 1,5-2 hours after a meal:

1. Starting position: lying on the back Hands along the trunk, legs stretched andare connected. Inhale, squeeze the fingers of both hands into a fist, slowly unfasten the exhalation;breathing is calm, without tension of abdominal muscles. Repeat 10 times.

2. Initial position: is the same. Sock the right leg, pull it toward you, the left toe at the same time goes away from you. Then do the same exercise from the complex with a stomach ulcer, starting with the left leg. Repeat 5 times alternately with each leg.

3 Initial position: is the same. Hands bent at the elbows, elbows pressed to the bed, legs stretched. Simultaneous circular movements of the hands: left hand in a clockwise direction, right - counter-clockwise( 4 times);change the direction of the arms( 4 times).Repeat this exercise from complex LFK at a stomach ulcer 5 times.

4. Initial position: is the same. Hands along the trunk, legs bent at the knees and brought together. Slowly dilute and knead. Repeat 10 times.

5. Starting position: lying on the back. Hands along the trunk, legs stretched and connected. Slowly turn your head to the right, then to the left. Breathing is arbitrary, without tension. Repeat 10 times.

LFK in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: exercises for the stomach and intestines

1. Initial position: is the same. Hands along the trunk, legs stretched and connected. Bend, not tearing off the bed, the right arm in the elbow, lower: the same with the left hand. Repeat 10 times.

2. Initial position: is the same. The legs are shoulder width apart, arms along the trunk. Split the socks to the sides, then connect, trying to make the legs turn completely from the hip inward and outward. Repeat 10 times.

3. Initial position: is the same. Legs are elongated and connected. Raise your shoulders - inhale, lower - exhale. Repeat 5 times.

4. Initial position: is the same. Place the left hand on the chest, the right hand on the stomach and make a slow( about 4 sec) breath, absorbing the air in intermittent portions. On inhaling, protrude the diaphragm, then move the chest to the upper inspiration position, cutting the abdominal wall and relaxing the diaphragm, then exhale the air in small portions through the nose( exhalation - about 6 seconds).Repeat the exercise 5-6 times, then calmly breathe.

5. Starting position: lying on the abdomen( in the absence of pain and severe discomfort).Legs are stretched out, hands along the trunk. Bend and unbend legs in the knees. Repeat 10 times.

6. Starting position: lying on the back. Hands along the trunk, legs stretched. Hands, torso and legs are relaxed. Quietly breathe, closing your eyes, 2-3 minutes.

Physiotherapy in the postoperative period after abdominal surgery

It is now early to raise patients after surgery, therefore the early postoperative period consists of 2 parts: 1st part( 1-2 day), when the patient lies, andThe second part( 2-3 day, rarely longer), when allowed to sit down, and then get up.

Therefore, for the first 2 days, all exercises of exercise therapy in the postoperative period are done lying down, then exercises are added, in the sitting position, and then standing. Classes in the early postoperative period it is desirable to spend 5-6 times during the day for 8-10 minutes. After some operations, especially sparing, carried out with the help of an endoscope, getting up is allowed on the same day, but starting immediately to do physical exercises, standing is not recommended. You can, focusing on the well-being and recommendations of a doctor, somewhat reduce the duration of these periods. After classes, there should be a feeling of pleasant fatigue, but not fatigue.

It is necessary to combine the physical exercises of physical therapy in the postoperative period with walks: first in the ward, then along the corridor, and if possible in the open air:

1. Starting position: lying on your back Quiet breathing, breathing slightly longer than inhalation,5 times.

2. Initial position: is the same. Cough several times. Breathing air through the nose, and exhaling with mild coughing jerks, trying to keep his mouth shut and cramping with each hand of coughing the ribs.

3. Initial position: is the same. Bending his arms in the elbows, squeeze the fingers of the hand 8 times with fists, then unclench.

4. Initial position: is the same. Hands stretched along the body. Simultaneously with the inhalation, raise your right arm forward, exhaling to lower it. Repeat 4 times with each hand.

5. Initial position: is the same. Elbows are pressed to the trunk, the brushes are raised to the shoulders. On inhaling, dilute elbows to the sides, on exhalation return to the starting position. Repeat 6 times.

6. Initial position: is the same. Hands, bent before the chest, on inhale pull forward, on exhalation return to the starting position. Repeat 6 times.

7. Initial position: is the same. Hands lie relaxed along the body. Pull the toes of the feet to themselves, then from themselves. Repeat 8 times.

8. Initial position: is the same. Hands along the body, legs stretched out. Alternating bending of the legs in the knees, gliding along the bed. Repeat 3 times with each foot, and then 3 times with both feet simultaneously.

9. Initial position: is the same. The legs are bent at the knees. Dilute your knees to the sides, feet in place. Repeat 8 times.

10. Initial position: is the same. The legs are bent at the knees. Raise the pelvis, leaning on the elbows, shoulder blades and the back of the head. Repeat 3 times.

11. Starting position: sitting on the bed. Bend your elbows in the elbows, then pull the brushes to your shoulders. Repeat 6 times.

12. Initial position: is the same. Leaning his hands on the bed, "walk around" sitting for 1-2 minutes.

13. Initial position: is the same. With his hands extended forward, squeeze the fingers of his hands 9 times and unclench them.

14. Initial position: is the same. Leaning your hands on the bed, pull the socks on yourself and yourself 9 times, and do not tear off the heels from the bed.

15. Starting position: lying down. The right palm on the chest, the left palm on the stomach. Slowly take 8 deep breaths and exhale, trying not to connect to the breath of the stomach.
